Then came Little Red

After Memorial Day weekend was over, so was the rental of the walk behind Brush Hog. We still have a lot to clear, but how?!? We purchased a ride around mower, but that was only for the front acre that we cleared. The part that was more like a traditional lawn, although a bit lumpy still.
We need to clear the field that isn't filled with saplings, but how? We could rent the walk behind again, but how feasible would that be? Not very, at least not a long term solution.

Facebook Marketplace to the rescue! In a town nearby we found a 1947 Farmall H in good working order.
The price was in our budget, and so was the temporary housing to keep her safe from the elements. (see the tan carport)

Next came our little but powerful tow behind rough cut mower. These two are just what we needed to get the field under control and to dream even bigger!

My husband just loves Little Red! I'd feel a little put off, but I do love my coffee just as much as he loves that tractor....our friends and family understand LOL
