Baby Apples and Fairy Eggs

What an exciting week! We're up to 9 apples in the tree that is producing (which is amazing as we didn't expect anything this first year) ! We know that in time that they will be bigger too.

And yesterday one of the girls layed her first egg!!!

We believe it was Lorraine Quiche as she's been squatting when you go to lay your hand on her back and she was pitching a fit in the nesting box. *I did peek in to look in on her, after all this is our first flock, and she was just standing in there giving me the side eye LOL

Although, Rosetta is also squatting a bit and her comb and waddle are showing signs AND she's being extra sassy 💕

No matter who it is, the rest should be following soon. As someone in one of the Facebook groups I belong to said "they poop free breakfast!!"
